4 Months!!

Luke turned 4 months on September 21!!!

He is starting to really notice the flash on the camera now...hence the WIDE eyes! He also has a new "friend" - a little monkey that rattles. 

What Luke is up to at 4 months:

• SMILING at everything
• TALKING nonstop
• Pulling his piggy toes
• Eating 5oz every 3 hours (exclusively breast milk - go us!!)
• Taking 3 naps a day (2 hours in the am, 2 hours in the pm and 1 hour around 6:30pm)
• Going to bed at 8:30 and sleeping until 6:30 (most nights)
• Falling asleep on his own - we put him in his crib awake and he talks himself to sleep!
• Grabbing at toys (and hair, and glasses, and shirts, anything he can get his hands on)
• Following our voices - he knows when Tom or I walk into a room
• Hating to be alone - he likes to see another person in the room

And our "little" guy is growing! We had our 4 month check up on Tuesday night.  The doctor said Luke is a very healthy little boy and is right on track developmentally.  Luke was pretty well behaved at the doctor until he tried to use the tongue depressor - then he lost it.  He also hated getting his ears checked and, of course, the 2 shots he had to get :(.  But he stopped crying as soon as I picked him up. 

Luke's 4 month check up stats:

weight - 18lbs 7oz
height - 27 inches
head - 17 inches

Yes, he is a BIG BOY - 95th percentile all around!!! WAY TO GO, LUKE! :)

I can't believe 4 months have come and go....we are obsessed with our little man and can't imagine our life without him!
