5 Months!!

We had a GREAT visit with Nan and Gramps last weekend.  We decided to try out the high chair while they were here.  Luke loved it!!
YUM Cereal.

I'm a big boy!

I love to be full!

Hanging with Nan on the porch.
It was so great to have my Mom and Dad here - thanks for making the 6 hour drive! We had a great weekend full of homemade sauce, steak tips and SLEEP :).  We can't wait to see you again on Thanksgiving!

We had a pretty good week...Luke has started sleeping almost all the way through the night again - now he usually wakes up once at either 2 or 4am, eats, then sleeps until 7ish.  On Thursday Luke turned 5 months old!!!!

I'm 5 months!
Here is what our little (BIG) 5 month old is up to....
  • Grabbing onto anything he can get his hands on - and strengthening his grip every day
  • Gnawing on his hands - we know a tooth must be down there somewhere!!!
  • ROLLING ROLLING ROLLING!!! You cannot put Luke on his back without him rolling over.  And he rolled from belly to back the other day!!! (while we were at work, of course, but Holly videotaped it for us!)
  • Eating cereal once a day at bedtime
  • Drinking ONLY breastmilk (YAY!! We made it another month!!) - 7oz every 4-5 hours
  • TALKING non stop - crazy baby babble with slight inflections now - his little voice goes up and down in tone! I wish I knew what he was trying to tell us.
  • Taking 2 naps a day
  • GROWING like a weed - he weighed in at 20lbs 2 weeks ago at the doctor's!!! (Tommy had to take him because I found a rough, dry, rashy spot on his elbow...apparently doc says it is nothing to worry about....but I am keeping a close eye on it!)
  • VERY curious about everything around him...if he sees something he wants he will lunge himself in that direction.  You have to keep a strong grip on this little guy! He also tries to pull fingers off your hand, eat your nose, and loves to pull daddy's glasses off his face.
I will leave you with a few "outtakes" from our 5 month photo shoot.  Have a great week!!
My doggy is very funny.

I love my hands....

.....and my feet!
