Each Memorial Day weekend is celebrated by running the Baldi Ruver Run. This year marked the 17th annual race. (Which is entirely unbelievable since I remember the inaugural run like it was yesterday!) It was Adam's first race and Luke's 2nd race. We missed last year's race as Adam was only a few days old, so it was extra special to be there this year. It was an amazing turnout and we had a blast!
Luke was a huge help at the water stations:
Adam was a wild man as usual:
...and he helped set up the beer station:
And then there was a ton of fun with the cousins:
I just love the shirts that my cousin Amy had made for all the kiddos!
We also managed to have a little fun (shocker!). What's a race without beer and Jell-O shots!? Yes, the baldi river run rules. And all proceeds from the race and Jell-O shots went to the Eric Steinman Memorial Scholarship in memory of our cousin Eric. So, if you've never been, you better come next year!
Ps -
My dad still organizes the whole thing. He's pretty amazing. Go Fred!
He's also a pretty awesome Gramps!
