Luke now walks across the room by himself!
He still looks like a little, drunken mummy, but he gets where he wants to go.
Everyday he can walk a bit further and a bit faster. I am giving it until July 1 and then he will be RUNNING.
Luke also LOVES the outside. He can open the screen door by himself (now we have a lovely lock on the screen thanks to Grandmom T!) and points and whines when he can't get outside. We have to walk around outside every day when we get home and there are tears when we have to go in for dinner.
Speaking of dinner, we tried macaroni and cheese today and LOVED IT!!!!!!! It took a lot of convincing and placing the noodles in his mouth multiple times....but on the 5th or 6th try he decided to actually TASTE it and not spit it out....and he loved it. I am so excited to send something other than dry rye bread to school for lunch tomorrow.
A few other updates.....
We celebrated Gina's baby shower on Saturday - Luke will have a baby cousin in less than 1 month!!!
I resigned from my job of 8 years and start a NEW and EXCITING job on July 11.
We had a family photo shoot in Old City Philadelphia with an amazing photographer, Kristen from Bayou Road Photography. She posted a few "teaser" photos on her website and hopes to have all final photos to us by next weekend.
And now I present to you our little family :)
